Rep Your Roots · The Global Fan Calendar
The 2026 tournament is barely over, and the next great summer of national-team soccer is already on the horizon. Euro 2028 brings the European Championship to home-friendly, English-speaking shores — here's your early guide, and how to start repping your nation now.
📅 The Basics
- Hosts: the UK & Ireland — matches across England, Scotland, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland.
- Dates: 9 June – 9 July 2028, with the final at Wembley Stadium in London.
- Format: 24 teams, six groups of four, then a knockout round of 16 through to the final.
🏟️ Home Advantage
Nine stadiums across eight cities — Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff, plus grounds in Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Dublin. The host nations still have to qualify, though two places are reserved for the best-ranked hosts who don't make it on merit.
🌟 Nations to Watch
Expect the usual European giants to headline: reigning continental champions Spain, along with France, England, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Croatia — plus a rising Norway side led by Erling Haaland, fresh off a breakout run in 2026, and Italy always lurking. Qualifying kicks off in March 2027.
👕 Get Ahead of the Crowd
