Rep Your Roots · The Global Fan Calendar
Africa's biggest tournament is heading somewhere new. The Africa Cup of Nations 2027 — officially the "Pamoja" edition — will be co-hosted by three East African nations for the first time, and the continent's powerhouses are already circling.
📅 The Basics
- Hosts: Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania — the first AFCON ever staged across three countries. "Pamoja" means "together" in Swahili.
- Dates: scheduled for 19 June – 17 July 2027.
- Format: 24 teams, with the three hosts qualifying automatically.
It's the first time the tournament has come to the East African region in roughly 50 years — a landmark moment for the whole continent.
🌟 Nations to Watch
The usual heavyweights headline: Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Algeria, and Ghana — with Nigeria and Cameroon never far away, and host nations Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania bringing fresh energy. Morocco were declared champions of the 2025 edition, a result that remains under appeal.
🌍 A Diaspora Celebration
From Senegalese and Nigerian communities to Ghanaian, Egyptian, and Moroccan fans across the U.S., AFCON is a heritage moment as much as a sporting one — a chance to wear your roots with pride.
Get ahead of it: every nation has its own retro crest tee, ringer tee, trucker cap, and tote in our Soccer collection (all 48 nations).
