A lot has changed since our Round of 32 recap. Two more rounds of knockout soccer have trimmed the field from 32 nations down to just eight — and the bracket delivered some serious drama along the way. All three co-hosts are gone, a five-time champion is out, and a couple of first-time contenders crashed the party.

Here are the eight teams still standing in the 2026 tournament. Tap any nation to shop its full collection of retro tees, trucker caps, and totes:

⚽ The Final 8 — Still Alive in the Knockout Round

Update: France are already through to the semifinals after a 2–0 win over Morocco on July 9 — the first ticket to the final four is punched.

💔 The Big Exits Since Our Last Update

The Round of 16 was brutal on the favorites and the host nations. Gone but not forgotten:

  • All three co-hosts — 🇺🇸 United States (fell to Belgium), 🇲🇽 Mexico (knocked out by England), and 🇨🇦 Canada (beaten by Morocco).
  • 🇧🇷 Brazil — the tournament's most decorated nation, eliminated by Norway.
  • 🇨🇴 Colombia — out on penalties to Switzerland.
  • 🇪🇬 Egypt — pushed Argentina to the brink before falling 3–2.
  • Plus 🇵🇹 Portugal, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇳🇱 Netherlands, and 🇭🇷 Croatia — all out before the final eight.

Still flying the flag for your country? Even the teams that bowed out have their full retro lineup ready — heritage never goes out of style.

Back your team through the final rounds. Every nation has its own retro arched-crest tee, classic name-and-flag tee, trucker cap, and tote in our 2026 Soccer collection — all 48 teams. Printed and shipped from NYC Factory. ⚽
